Events in history often become iconic at the expense of their humanity. Bringing them into the light of the present, sometimes can restore that humanity so we can see ourselves in them again.

In the case of Travelers, we wanted to make a really big story small again.  There's a lot happening here.  There's an intersection between the world and the divine. Human history is being changed.  It's also two people fighting through fear and pain and very real emotions.  Doing the right thing doesn't take you out of the moment.  And being faithful, doesn't stop you from facing your fears.

Being human is messy. We’re capable of beauty, but prone to weakness. We’re filled with good intentions, but our flesh often gets in the way. We have hope, and yet we’re vulnerable. Is it possible to see Jesus in that light?

As human.

In his last hours, Jesus was hurt, let down, afraid and lonely. He was like us. What would those moments look like if they took place today?

Official music video for "Just the Same" by singer-songwriter Ann-Janette off her debut album, Down to Nothin'.

The opening sequence for a proposed original series concept called "The American Dream". It was narrated by broadcasting legend Bill Kurtis and explored what the American Dream looks like in the hands of Generation X.

(The series was never picked up.)

This 30s spot for Speedo was used to trumpet their new general sports apparel line. Known almost exclusively for their presence within the aquatic sports market, they now wanted to compete at large with companies like Nike and Reebok. Our job was to create an "edgy and aggressive" launch ad using their sponsored athletes while showing their broader market presence (Volleyball, Triathlons, Running as well as aquatics.) The spot aired nationally on ESPN and other related networks.

This re-imagining of famous Christmas song  "Do You Hear What I Hear" was created by Ann-Janette and Jarrod Elmore.  This represents the first purely creative project we produced, shot in 2002.

I shot this when our daughter, Evanjalyn, was 2 months old. It only took me 8 months to get around to cutting it together.

File this under:  What I did last Summer.  It's the story of a girl, her bike, an overprotective dad and the not-so-open-road.

"A conversation with Jason Elmore"

Here’s a sneak peak at grammy-nominee JOHN FULLBRIGHT in the pilot episode of new show "Tulsa Tonight" on RSU TV.  This is our first partnership with RSU, who shot the live concert event. We added interviews, additional concert footage and gave the program its overall “look". It’s part live concert, part music video, part in-depth interview with Fullbright. We hope you’ll watch it.  My guess is you’ll be able to tell the role we played...
